It''s the end of the 2015 summer vacation for the new nineth graders in West Virginia. April, a new nineth grader was a mix of emotions as the summer came to an erupt stop. She wanted to see her best friend Dezi, she also wanted to see her other best friend Devin. April ,and Devin had dated before ,and when they broke up nothing really changed, they were still best friends. Over the summer April ,and Devin had been talking off Aprils granpas Facebook. They did'nt get to talk as much as they wanted but, they made it work.

April was getting her last minute things ,and she was so ready to go back to school. She still had to pick out her outfit for tomorrow ,and get her hair done. She was so excited to see Devin ,and Dezi again since the last time she saw them was in June.

She got on her granpas computer and texted Devin she typed "hey" hoping he would text her back immediatly.

April went to the mall with her mom Dorothy, her dad Doug ,and her brat of a little sister Violet. April had to get her outfit for the first dya of school ,and her new school shoes. The reason her dad was there was because, all he did to support his daughter was buy her school shoes. He was'nt around that much because, him ,and Dorothy split up a long time ago when april was about three. April is tweleve now but, she is happy she's not living with her dad because, she does not like his girlfriend. Anyways, Dorothy still loved Doug ,and she always would but, she hated his guts for what he did to her. By the way he cheated on her with two other women which one he is still with to this day and has three other children with. Lets get back to the

A warm tear rolled down aprils face, and she could'nt help but, to burst into tears. She was heart broken ,and defenatly did'nt want to go to school anymore.

The next day april went back to school. In the morning she struggled to get dressed ,and gather up the courage to go to school. She really did'nt want to see Devin ,and have it be awkward. When she saw him she felt miserable. She felt like she could crawl in a hole ,and die. She saw him ,and no one said a word. Everyone came up to her ,and asked if she was happy to see Devin again. She lied ,and said she was. Through the whole day she thought about him. The only class she saw him in was chorus ,and she was dreading seeing him with other girls. She was staring at him ,and his friends they were laughing ,and having fun. She was so jealous. A week past by ,and they still had'nt talked. She heard that he had a girlfriend ,and it as one of her close friends. April felt betrayed because, she cold'nt believe that her friend would do that to her ,and not ask her first. April still kept going she put on a fake smile everyday ,and went with it. She felt lost without knowing that he loved her. She wanted him to talk to her but, she did'nt want to get on his nerves so she did'nt talk to him. Aprils best friend Dezi came to her house

    Garth Nix’s Mister Monday was not a good book in my opinion.
