Personal Narrative: Actions Can Be More Powerful Than Words

People say that they are going to change something about themselves. For example, a student can say that they are going to pass a test, but end up failing it. Therefore, I believe that actions can be more powerful than words.
When I was in first grade, my teacher announced to us that we were going to take a reading test tomorrow. I was really nervous because reading was not my best subject. Even though I’m not the best at reading, I was still going to do my best. When I went home, the first thing I did was study. When the day came to take the test, I was confident that I was going to pass because I studied really hard. While I was taking the test, I was struggling.
