All things considered, no irregularities usually appeared on the route, yet the regular inhabitants tasked with exploring barely bat an eye, regardless of a few ships coming from the distant core worlds. Presently, peculiar for a brief time, the deep chasm of space gave way for the hull of a small republic transporter just above the expansive orbit of the planet; jumping out of hyperspace for the last of its journey.
As if on cue, passengers stood to revel at the sight of the thriving planet of Coruscant, dedicating their time to a period of awe while the view of the planet shifted just out of their sight. Steadily, the hushed whispers eased

At once, a stallion clothed in a grey double-breasted dress tunic stood to attention, gazing towards the robed mare.
“General Sunset, the vessel has received confirmation for landing.”
Sunset Shimmer briefly turned towards the stallion.
“Very well Commander, proceed to engage landing protocol.”
The mares focus on the stars were again cut short. By all means, the Holo-Projector stationed on the observation deck chimed as another mare appeared; bowing in greeting to Sunset.
"Greetins' Master Shimmer, ah hope your travels have proved fine durin' these last few days?"
No doubt, Sunset could recognize that voice anywhere.
“Golden, General Applejack- if I may speak with such informalities,” she bowed, a wide grin already at full strength “We’ve rendezvoused at the Metello Trade route as ordered. Will probably be on the surface in 20 standard minutes.”

In Packing for Mars, Mary Roach communicates that the most interesting part of space travel is humanity and the complicated obstacles that come with it. Roach’s purpose is to argue that although they present difficult challenges, much can be learned about humanity through space travel. To support this argument, the author compares humanity to machinery and the opinions of scientists to her own, provides anecdotes concerning the humanity of astronauts, and describes the struggles and morality of those changed by space from their answers to an interview. The first rhetorical strategy present in the excerpt is comparison.…

Mainstream and critical literary judgments rarely intersect. Paradoxically, scholars often regard a novel’s popularity as indicative of its ‘unliterariness’, prompting fervent backlash. Likewise, ‘high’ literature is commonly viewed as inaccessible to the general populous. Nevertheless, Douglas Adams’ acclaimed 1979 novel The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is an anomalous example wherein critical consensus reflects mainstream judgments.…

Space exploration is the investigation by means of manned and unmanned spacecraft, of the reaches of the universe beyond Earth’s atmosphere and the use of the information so gained to increase knowledge of the cosmos and benefit humanity (Encyclopædia Britannica). The use of space exploration has been a huge part of American and world history for many years, and has always been a very controversial topic since its discovery. Thousands of years ago people would look into the sky and merely observe what was above them; while today, we have people in space looking down on us floating through space. People would sail across oceans and made the incredible discovery of new land to colonize; today we are trying to colonize planets millions of miles…
