Personal Narrative: A Letter To Andy

Dear Andy, I know you will not read this and you can’t read this but I wanted to talk to you and this is the closest thing to it. Five years have passed since you have passed, but it feels like forever. Although I was only six, I remember everything about you. I remember you loved basketball, I remember your smile when I made some stupid joke, I remember the way you treated me and how I looked at you. I looked at you as my role model. I always wanted to be like you. I still want to. My mom tells me all the time that I look like you. I don’t know if it makes her happy or sad. I know it makes me happy though. I am eleven years old now. I play basketball for the school just like you did! Mom comes to all my games. But dad doesn’t. They split up
