School is a laborious job that requires full attention and in my early years, I never really thought about how the classes I took could very well determine my future when applying for colleges. My parents always told me to focus on my school work and take hard classes, but I never really took that to heart. Freshman year, my grades weren't the best, I know I could've done so much better, my laziness could never take me anywhere. Heading into my sophomore year, my GPA was rather low and when my guidance counselor finally opened my eyes to putting more effort forth after she saw me struggling, she taught me a lot and I am forever grateful. From then on, a never ending battle has been on my hands to expropriate my seemingly lost grade point average.
