Personal Narrative: A Career As An Assistant Manager

Decent Essays
Although I was getting paid minimum wage I enjoyed working as a CSR because I got to work short hours and was getting good tips. I also enjoyed working with my co-workers because we laughed at each other’s agony of helping a customer.
Eventually after working at the front for a year I got promoted to Assistant Manager. Becoming assistant manager was one of the happiest days of my life because I was going to be paid more. Assistant Manager came with a whole new set of responsibilities. As a CSR, you only worry about helping customers, but as an Assistant Manager you supervise with your co-workers; make sure they are doing their job and you make food orders. You must make sure everyone is doing their job and doing it to their best ability.
