Jobs have a mayor influence on people’s life. Education can help people achieve their goals. I want to be a dental hygienist because that is a job that you don’t have to study a lot ,and it’s a easy job to do. Today , I interviewed my dentist who works in the similar field. First of all , I like helping other people.…
Sharp needles poking at your gums, metal clanking on your teeth, and the sight of nervous children are all ways to describe how someone sees a dentist. I know I can change that. Aspiring to transform the way a person thinks about a Dentist is something I know I can do for my family, community, and the world. If you would give me the opportunity to express my love and dedication to the dental field, you will be astounded with my overall work ethic. I’m experienced, reliable, responsible, and educated for this position at your Dental office, and yearn for the chance to begin to make my change in the dental…

For the interview group project, I chose to interview a Dental hygienist, Dentist, Dental Assistant and office administrator that works for the Union. When I asked them if they could participant in my interview I informed them that I would like to voice record them and if that would be okay with them. The Dental Assistant was a little hesitant at first because she said she was nervous, I told her I didn’t have to record her if that was the problem. I made sure to ask them if they wanted to have the interviews conducted at their homes for privacy issues or comfort.…
The mentor that inspired me was my Orthodontist. I was a patient at Chadwell Orthodontics when I had braces. Every time I went for an appointment he and his staff were great. Me and all the girls that worked there got along great. In Middle School, I went to their office and job shadowed for a day to see what they really do and what their jobs were really about.…
I want to be a Dental Assistant because in High School I had a chance to go to Berks Career and Technology Center known as Vo-tec. We had to pick two careers we were interested and can see a future in once we graduated high school. My first pick was cosmology and my second choice was Dental Assisting, Of course I ended not getting into cosmetology and I ended up in dental. Once I graduated from my Dental…
“Set your goals high, and don’t stop until you get there” (Bo Jackson). Each and every person has a dream or goal growing inside of them like a wild flower. In order for a wild flower to grow, it needs the proper nutrition, as do your goals, you have to nourish and allow you goals to grow, but in the same breath you have to accept failure where it comes in trying to achieve that goal you have, because failure is another way of learning. My goal is to finish college and earn my associates degree and become a dental hygienist, in order to achieve my goal of becoming a dental hygienist, I plan to earn my associates degree with a good GPA, volunteer at a local dental office, and continue my study at dental school. In this response, we will be discussing more about myself, my goals I have, and how I plan to achieve those goals.…
While I was there I soon realized their job really interested me, and from then on that’s what I’ve wanted to do as my future career when I got older. I feel like I would make a great physical therapist assistant because I would like to help people who has been hurt get better and function…
Worth it “Is all of it worth it?” I asked myself over and over again. The feeling of butterflies in my stomach, with the walls spinning around while the anesthesia is being administered, the tears flowing down my face. It all started around my pre-teen era. My teeth were one of a kind.…
Three careers that would be well suited for me are a cost estimator, an operations research analyst, and a conservation officer. Two of these careers involve quantitative thinking and mathematical skills, while the third career involves enforcing laws and regulations and working outdoors. Due to my interest in working outdoors I have chosen conservation officer as the best career opportunity for me. The first job I researched is a cost estimator. I researched this job because it involves mathematical skills on a daily basis.…
There is no science to my madness; I keep it simple when it comes to organizing my day, or reminding me of an appointment. My calendar app on my phone is the only way I keep up with my busy schedule. When adding to my calendar I make sure I have a brief description that reminds me of what I have to accomplish. Usually, for appointments I have scheduled I set a reminder for that morning to inform me about upcoming appointments for that day, so I am better aware of my day. As I mentioned in my introduction, I am a Dental Assistant in the Army, and I see multiple patients on a daily basis.…
My career goals are to be successful and to change the current status of women around the world. This would not be easy as many have tried, but I believe that technology will be able to change the lives of many. I developed these goals through experiences with narrow-minded family members that do not believe that I am able to achieve all the I have because I am of the female…
I have known from a young age that I wanted to do something exceptional in my life. Something about helping others drew me in, so I knew a career in the medical field would be my best fit. It was not until a traumatic day in my life occurred that made me realize I was bound to be a nurse. I have played volleyball for five year, my senior year was not an exception. Volleyball was the only sport I played and my passion.…
Growing up, since the age of 8, I have always wanted to be a dental hygienist. It wasn’t something I felt passionate about, but I kind of liked teeth and my mother said I should do it, so I went for it. I got straight A’s in the classes for the dental hygiene program and did not get into the program. I decided that it wasn’t meant to be and I should be doing something that I personally chose to do. Being a teacher was something I always thought about, but public speaking was my greatest fear, so I figured if I can’t do public speaking I can’t be a teacher.…
I think for a career pathway, I will choose more the hospital setting. I really enjoyed the pace and business of the ER compared to the clinic. I really like the concept of doing something different every day and not being so routine. I think that’s what this experience has meant to me. It was very helpful.…
