At that point, my own motivation started rise because I knew that I belonged to an individual that knew what it takes to work for what he wants, so I told myself to keep pushing and not to let my master down on my first day on the job.
At last, the final whistle was blown and my shoe heart was smiling because I knew that the day was complete. Once again I watched all of Adam’s team members leave the now scorching turf and leave for home. But Adam wasn’t unlacing me! He was talking to his head coach about how the team was in dire need of a kicker. He volunteered because he knew his team need him. He went on to kick field goals all by himself until he grew in confidence. I was aching, overheated, and most of all spent, but Adam’s look on his face only showed signs of

That set up Dalvin cooks questionable touchdown run. Adam just ran right passed Vernon who is still learning the game but should never be burned like that! Later in the quarter on a 3rd and 12, Vernon gives Stefon Diggs like a 15-20 yard cushion and just allows him to come back to the ball and get the first down. In the second quarter, Diggs just runs an in and out route just goes right by Ryan Smith for about a 20 yard gain.…

Ralph argues that gym shoes symbolize historical consciousness for two previous generations of Divine Aces by “resonating with two district aspects of the Divine Ace legacy: the first is the civil rights era; the second is related to the heyday of heroin trafficking” (671). They induce nostalgia for the past and provide cues for the identities that Red and Otis, the former gang leaders still seem to cherish and cling to. Gym shoes are inseparable from their identities as the leaders of either a community oriented gang during the civil rights movement, or centrally organized one in the head of the heroin market in 1980s. A Thousand Experiences Throughout life, individuals face different obstacles and struggles; my obstacle was my tendency to be shy. For example, when I was faced with social pressures like speaking in front of a class for a presentation, or meeting new people, I would be a nervous wreck. My palms would sweat, my voice would tremble, and it took all the strength I could muster to overcome my irrational fears. I only had a small, albeit close knit group of friends due to my introverted ways.…
