Please describe briefly your duties in your current/last position?

I am currently in nursing school at University of Maryland (Baltimore Campus). Prior to nursing school I worked as a Independent Duty Medical Technician (IDMT) on active duty orders in a Family Practice Clinic. I also worked in the Emergency Department at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (Germany) where I supervised 24 military members, scheduling, maintaining supplies, training, as well as maintaining my credentials as a IDMT.
What are three important things you are looking for in your job search that would make your work environment ideal?

Teamwork, cohesiveness, and opportunities to grow are most important to me when searching for a job.

Something I would like to improve on is being able to tactfully address situations without the other person feeling attacked, saying “No” when my responsibilities are too heavy to handle, and taking credit for something I did well.
What is one personal or career goal that you have accomplished and why that was important to you. What is one goal you would like to accomplish within the next two years?

A personal career goal that I have accomplished is attending nursing school. I consider this a career accomplishment because everything I do while active duty is considered a career move. Attending nursing school is a stepping stone to my long term goals. Within the next two years, I hope to be enrolled in a Master’s Program.
