Learning to do something to do you’ve never done can take more perseverance than you think. Buck was taken out of his normal life and had to learn many hard lessons about being a sled dog, and who to obey. My mom had to go to college for six years while raising two kids, and she had to learn all of the hard things you need to know about nursing. They both had struggles learning along the way, but had a great outcome in the end. Everyone has to persevere in their own way in order to learn something new.

My mom had to go to college for 6 years to learn how to be a nurse. She had to go to school every day, and sometimes she had to stay late in order to learn what she needed to know. She had to raise two kids while going to college everyday, and so she learned to do her homework when we were at school, and when we were sleeping. Finally, she had to make time to study, so that she would get good grades. Even though my mom and Buck are different in many ways, they both persevered in their own way. My mom and Buck both had to learn something that was totally new to them. My mom was learning how to be a nurse, and Buck was learning what he needed to do to be a sled dog. They both had to recover from their injuries. My mom was hurt when she fell and she fractured, and dislocated her shoulder. Buck was also hurt when he was beaten with the club, and when he fell on the ice with his sled team. Finally, they both got new jobs. Buck got a new job of being a sled dog, and my mom got a new job of being a
