Perfect Pizza, Inc., a regional pizza delivery shop with multiple locations, has decided to implement a new online ordering system that will allow customers to place orders online, and allow in-house staff to enter orders into the same system, which is also integrated into the organization’s inventory and accounting systems. The hope is that this will increase sales and improve the efficiency of the ordering process.

It is a very effective tool for long term planning and trouble shooting. This study should most essentially support the financial information of an organization. It helps organizations to determine whether the technical resources meet capacity and whether the team is capable of translating the ideas into working systems. Technical feasibility also involves evaluation of the hardware, software, and other technology requirements of the proposed system.

Operational Feasibility:
Operational assessment involves undertaking a study to analyze and determine how well the organization’s needs can be met by completing the project. Operational feasibility studies also analyze how a project plan satisfies the requirements identified in the requirements analysis phase of system development. In addition, this analysis focuses on the degree to which the proposed development project fits in with the existing business environment and objectives with regard to development timetable, supply date, corporate culture and existing business processes.

Economic Feasibility:
Economic feasibility assessment aims to determine the positive economic benefits to the organization once the proposed online integrating system was implemented. It typically involves a cost and benefits analysis and it is the most frequently used method for evaluating the effectiveness of a new proposed system.

Problem: When the online ordering system was proposed, company has to spend lot of money on resources. Company has to estimate the resources cost, and it will give any added advantage to the current business. If the business is not grown even after adding resources (hardware/software and IT consultants) to the existing business, there is no point to go forward.

Technical Feasibility:
Technical feasibility assessment is focused on gaining an understanding of the present technical resources of the organization and their applicability to the expected needs of the proposed system.
