The Pennsylvania State University is a 159 year old institution rich in history. With 24 campuses throughout the whole college, it is one of the largest universities in the United States. Not only does Penn state have marvelous academics, Penn State has the largest student run philanthropic organization, including a 46 hour dance marathon to raise money for pediatric cancer. With all included, PSU had one of the most famous college football teams in the country named The Nittany Lions, and Beaver Stadium, where they play is the third largest stadium in the world. Penn State university is located in the middle of a valley titled "Happy Valley," surrounded by many mountains and is known for its clubs, sports programs and higher education, that is perfect for all types of learners and athletes.
Penn State University has campuses all over the state. All together, the university has 24 campuses. Most students, after spending two years at a satellite campus, transfer to the central campus. The main campus is located in State College, Pennsylvania, which is minutes away from the University Park Airport.
