Surely it solves the problem because it just let those people who should be prisoned and punished due to their crimes become innocent. Since all of these criminals are not considered as criminals, this means many of the suspicious criminal will be considered as innocent as well because the crimes are decriminalized already. It not only reduces the population of the prison, but also it filter enormous amount of potential prison population, what a great solution!

Suede’s article obtains plenty of statistic data such as “The 2009 federal prison population consisted of criminals who committed these crimes;” he lists the percentage of population for each specific type of criminals. Besides that, he also has clear description about the ethnicity of criminals with his powerful statistic data. At the same time, his data strongly supports his view point, stating the critical situation of the prison that many people are not worth for prisoning.
