College is a time where you can learn to become something you want to make an impact on, whether it's to become a politician, psychologist, or even a plumber. You, regardless, make an impact on a stranger, acquaintance, friend, family member, the community, or the world. Becoming a pediatric oncology nurse (care for children with cancer) grants me this feeling of making an impact. I believe that being there for someone in their everyday life is vital, so you can learn in respect, for their feelings as well. Throughout college, I will want to become one of these, so I can treat them and assist them to outdo this misery they are going through.
