Consider your current or a previous employer. How could the functions of management have aided in positively changing the organization, department or industry for the better? Why? Be specific.
My current employer PBC Food Bank, recently changed to a software that keeps track of food donations, expiration dates and the allocations to distribute the donated goods amongst the agencies we serve. We had a meeting to explain how important it was to implement the system and how this will regulate distributions to our clients. At first staff was hesitant about the new system since it is new to all of us and the unknown is scary to most people.
Perhaps the fact that we included the staff in the transition helped to welcome the new system. However,
