The cosmetology industry is very fascinating field. There are many companies out there and they sell just about anything. The Paul Mitchell company has a long history of producing luxurious hair care products. The company has had humble beginnings but has made it into a world known company. They have come so far for only being a 35 year old company. Paul Mitchell has been the driving force of the company by producing luxurious hair care products for every hair type.

The Paul Mitchell company is thriving. Their headquarters have been relocated to Beverly Hills, California. They have salons in 87 countries, and more than 35 take home hair care products. The sales are well over $150 million a year (history of). The company's net worth is $4 billion, according to Forbes (John Paul). They still have their self-sustaining, solar-powered awapuhi farm in Hawaii that produces all the awapuhi for their awapuhi line (Fun facts). The company has still kept to their values and still do not have any animal testing. The company is “dedicated to making our world a more beautiful place”, John Paul Dejoria. The company supports over twenty-five different charities. They support many charities from sports all the way to babies. The company even made a line called Neon to bring awareness to bullying and is designed for teens. Part of the profit goes to anti-bullying charities. It's not just the company that gives back the Paul Mitchell schools give back as well. The Paul Mitchell schools have given over 11.2 million dollars to charities.
