• Demonstrates Wound Healing: Primary Intention, as evidenced by substantial skin and wound edge approximation.
• Demonstrates Wound Healing: Secondary Intention, as evidenced by decreased wound size
Patient will demonstrate the application of a warm compress and topical ointments to prevent further bacterial infection.
Follow Up Care: Pustule should take up to two weeks to heal. If the pustule worsens or increases in size, patient is advised to notify doctor immediately. The patient will follow up for one year skin examination if wound heals appropriately.
