Patagonia Leadership: A Case Study

Yes, I think all companies can benefit from the guidance from Patagonia leadership. Treating people like they matter is important. I currently work for a company called TransCo, and I personally could benefit from Patagonia’s HR practices. At TransCo, our teammates are our most valued assets. Beliefs and values guide our relationships with our teammates, influencing our employment practices from training to policies. We require respect on how we treat each other. Our relationships are most successful when we carefully show that we value and care about the people we are working with. We have a commitment to TransCo’s teammates, that employees will always have an opportunity to be heard from every level of the organization, including the president.
