Personal thoughts:
On Thursday morning, the first day of the Feast, Jesus sent Peter and John to prepare a place where he could hold the Passover supper with his disciples in the evening. He knew it was the last time that he would break the bread of the Passover with them before he suffered, and it was also the first Holy Supper of the Christian Church. During the supper, he taught them a lesson of humility and talked with them tenderly and served them. At the end of the dinner, they sung a psalm together and he asked them to always believe him and no matter what happened never change their faith in God. He told them to live from him, like a branch lives from the vine, for he was the true spiritual vine, and without him they could do nothing.
There is no doubt that God is almighty in the Bible. When the people were hungry, he could made the sky rained bread; when the people were thirsty, he could make the wall pour out sweet spring water; when someone fell ill, no matter how serious it was, he could heal it… And of course, he showed great love for his people, he guided them in all things and taught them in all things. And that’s when I left home to college, I was awarded that I would have to do everything on my own. It was the first time that I confront all the things all by myself. At first, I thought that I could do nothing without my parents and felt depressed. However, it turned out that in this world, no one is left who won’t survive. Therefore, it’s necessary to believe in ourselves and trust us have the ability to handle everything. After all, our instinct is survival.
