My passion for public health and being a public health major is the driving force for wanting to be on the leadership team. I feel I bring experience both as a patient and through my various roles outside of school that could help better direct the club. The role I chose was Publicity Officer, and the reason for that is both my skills along with what I have heard and experienced from other students. Many students I talk to don’t know about the club, and once I share it with them they are eager to join. I feel by being granted this opportunity I will be able to bring more passionate public health individuals to our club, thus increasing the impact we can make on our campus and beyond.
