This is shown to make individuals very lonesome and in despair of themselves, because no one wants anything to do with someone whose life could make their lives in danger. For those who are around these types of people are also looking over their shoulder, and always on the alert because they never know if they'll be alive the next day. All over the world there are different illnesses that are shown to be acceptable, even if that human is dealing with the supernatural. For those individuals who have been shown to deal with the supernatural have been solvent to these illnesses including: “mystical causation, animistic causation, and magical causation” (C. Yuill, I. Crinson & E. Duncan, 2011). Mystical causation is whenever a human is being immoral to another of its kind. Animistic causation is whenever the individuals action is portrayed by God or an entity. Magical causation is whenever that human is caught using magic. These illnesses could cause many issues, thus including but not limited to judgment towards other humans. This quiz entitles these adults beliefs in paranormal topics like fortune telling, telepathy, space aliens, and astrology. But before these students actually took the quiz, they had their fortune told first. Then they would actually rate their fortune that was told to them. The fortune rate for “true” was (m = 2.59, sd = 1.1) this was very close to the “false” fortunes read which was (m = 2.61, sd = 1.3). During the supernatural belief test, the one that had the highest rating was astrology coming in at (m = 2.9, sd = 1.2) and Bigfoot coming in at the lowest (m = 1.9, sd = 0.8). (Hughes, M. L. 2001). An opportunity sample of 305 participants (64 male participants, and 241 female participants) completed the study. The study included testing on two areas: paranormal factors, and traditional paranormal factors. Things that were included in paranormal factors were; (hauntings, superstitions, religious belief, alien visitation, ESP, PK, astrology, and witchcraft), things that were included in traditional paranormal factors were; (psi, reincarnation, altered states). The overall scores of paranormal factors ranged from 0 to 156. The overall scores of traditional paranormal factors were 11.16 to 43.24. The perception of random answers was about 65%, although those who took
