Not too long ago, we had a barricaded subject in an abandoned church living with his girlfriend when he was told to leave, or the police would be called. He pulled a weapon and began firing rounds. Hostage negotiators and SWAT began communication with the subject. Several hours’ later communication stopped. We had to formulate another plan to gain communication back with the subject.
