The different types of data collected provided insight into the ten participants’ thoughts relative to their overall feelings about the instruction and revealed the effectiveness and impact of the instruction. The pre- and post-test provided the opportunity to compare the results between topic questions which the instruction readily addressed and others where there may have been some ambiguity. The results of the end of instruction questionnaire helped to clarify some of the ambiguity from the pre- and post-test comparisons, as there appeared to be some correlation of the pre- and post-test answers when compared to the end of instruction questionnaire. The ten participants possess varying degrees of industry knowledge and are separated out by less than 1 year labeling experience to 1+ year of labeling experience. The post-test provided information as to what the participants absorbed during the instruction to remedy the incorrect pre-test answers. Each paper-based test contained the same twenty questions with the answers reordered between pre and post. Each question was worth 5 points with partial credit given for questions that specified one or more correct answer. A score of 80% on the post-test is a passing grade for receiving an achievement certificate, as required by the FDA for corporate training records.
