P&G uses the supply chain integration through information sharing between manufacturers and retailers. For instance, a partnership between P&G and Wal-Mart took place; they both shared data across their mutual supply chains. The resulting channel was more efficient as the activities were better coordinated. Also, this partnership adopted a more professional customer focus. The supply chain integration helped in enhancing business to business electronic commerce and supported increasing volume and customization in business to consumer electronic commerce. MIS and DSS
