1. Review the website resources listed on p. 490. Connect them to appropriate grades and standards as applicable. Which of these are or can be integrated in other content areas?
For example:
The Council for Economic Education – on this site I followed a link to EconEdLink (http://www.econedlink.org/ ). There I found a lesson plan titled “What Pet Should I get?’ Dr. Seuss and Decision Making. The activities walk the student through making choices and costs involved.
1. The Council for Economic Education ( http://www.councilforeconed.org ). On this website I found some of the events, programs and resources for education. One of the resources I found was a game called Gen i Revolution which is a game about personal finance, I was not able to find a standard for it, but most school require students to take a personal finance class.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis ( http://stlouisfed.org/education_resources/elementary.cfm ) this webpage has been moved or no longer available, the main web page has links that are about the housing cost and federal banking regulations. This is information that the student need to be able to read and comprehend.
3. The Foundation for Teaching Economics ( http://www.fte.org/teacher-resources/state-standards ) this website gives many resources, one of them that I like is being able to find material that is backup by a standard. The only draw back is that it is not free. The material found can be back up by all 50 states.
4. Missouri State department of Education ( https://mcds.dese.mo.gov/quickfacts/Pages/Career-Education.aspx ) has many resources, this website has ACT results, drop out rates, a future educators can get their subbing licenses. DESE has career and education statics and other information, this could be something a counselor could use with the student when looking for colleges or teachers look at locals information to see where they are on the local education
