Overconsumption In The Outsiders

In the video clip of the "Outsiders" talks about a couple that are considered freegans. Which means that they are consuming and living from recycle vegetables, meat, cloths, and furniture. The each scene takes place in the night where is less people that can judge them for overconsumption. They are not considered homeless but neither poor because have a house and recycle materials. also in the video clip said that they do not work and try to avoid using money. The reality is that they are considering the consequences of getting a virus, bacteria, or salmonella. Every day we consume energy, water, clothing, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and things of everyday use, but also we recycle bottles, cartons, bags, papers you no longer need. The garbage truck collects all the trash separately and recyclable material reuse it when in perfect conditions which helps nature. In my house every day we cook, we use vegetables, meats, condiments to prepare dinner. Sometimes the ingredients are already expired or spoiled, is when we started to throw all what we will no longer use. For us it's garbage and …show more content…
The truth is that there are different types of over-consumption as clothes, shoes, bags, alcohol, food, etc. What is the anxiety of buying things over? For example, people who buy food in bulk. I understand that sometimes it is better to buy in large quantities to surrender more and especially money. But there are people who buy double or triple what they need. What we do not think it is in the time it takes to consume everything and there are times to buy things way too damaged or expire. and in the end it all goes to waste, and it was a waste of money. Modern society does not think of the great damage to the environmental all waste. It is sad to know that while our planet every day being damaged, new products are being produced. And do not think of the millions of tons of waste are generated each year in
