For example when focussing on gender issues males are less likely to enter the nursing workforce as that of females as it tends to be stereotyped by the public as a female orientated field, they are also under belief that wages are more sufficient in other field areas, thus initiatives by the government are prevalent in order to attract more males to equalise the gender difference.
