I. Free speech is not an absolute right. Your right to free speech should be limited to use that do not impede on the rights of others.
A) Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. argued that, “The right to swing my fist ends where the other man’s nose begins.” This should be applied to free speech, as well.
B) Freedom of Speech is an important value, however it is not the only value.
II. Hate Speech bans cannot be proven to reduce discrimination.
A) There is no reason for a ban, if it doesn't better a society.
B) Who determines what constitutes “hate” speech?
III. Hate Speech isn't speech at all, its incitement.
