A. Introductory Remarks: Beside nearly every major male character in a literature drama stands a strong supporting woman.
B. Thesis: Lady Macbeth’s actions of her ambitions led her to suffer from a psychological disorder known as PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), which led to her downfall in Macbeth.
II. Body Paragraph 1: Character Description
A. In the beginning of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth is seen as a ruthless and ambitious woman with a plan.
B. She will do anything to make sure her husband becomes king.
III. Body Paragraph 2: Ambitious Plans
A. She persuades her husband, Macbeth, to do whatever it takes to seize the crown.
B. Lady Macbeth convinces her husband to kill King Duncan in order to fulfill the witches’ prophecy.
