Outer Space Aliens Research Paper

Based on Tom De Longe, 86% of the American population believes that outer space aliens exist and they have visited our planet. This research paper will analyze if outer space aliens really exist. Have you ever wondered if Earth is unique and if it’s the only planet with life in the universe? Scientists have discovered other planets, but none of them are Earth-like, those planets are very big and gaseous. In addition, they orbit near to their stars, so the temperatures are very high in those planets. Mathew Stanley estimated that ‘there are 10 Earth-like planets for every grain of sand on the Earth. Some people say that water is the beginning of life, and scientist have not found water nor ice in the other planets, but there is a 92% that humans are not the only civilization in the universe. Are we alone in the universe? …show more content…
Outer space aliens could be very intelligent and with advance technology but, they could also be bacterias or other microorganisms. People think that if the scientists find aliens they are going to be like us, intelligent, but as said before aliens could be microorganisms. If the scientist find “alien microorganisms”, this is going to be a big accomplishment, however, because this “alien bacterias” could be useful for the basic needs that we, the humans, have. Based on the newspaper “The Sun”, there are more Earth-like planets in the universe, with water. Those planets are very far from where Earth is, so scientist and engineers have to work together to develop an advanced technology that can travel faster through space. On August 30, 2018, a scientist was doing an investigation looking at the sky and he saw that a star, during a period of time, was being blocked.”This could be that aliens are trying to protect their planets, or that they are making a type of barrier to contact us.” If we contact aliens, this could change the human history

The Space Race began with the launch of Sputnik, and from then on it did nothing but heat up. The launch of Sputnik did give the Soviets a lead, but The U.S. quickly answered back with the expedited launch of their satellite, the Explorer 1. Now that the U.S. had realized that they were behind, they began making major strides in the field of space exploration. The first change that thy made was creating the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and immediately after creating the Mercury program that had the goal to put a human into orbit. The Soviets made good use of their lead, though, and in April, 1961, they put the first person (Yuri Alekseyevich) into orbit aboard Vostok 1.…

Apollo Missions I have always thought that the whole idea of landing on the moon was amazing. When I first started looking into the Apollo Missions I had no Idea what I was going to discover. I looked at a few articles that talked about the geology of the moon’s surface and how there are valleys, mountains, and craters all over the moon, then I started comparing that to the earth’s surface and thinking about how the valleys and mountains on the earth formed, the first thing that came to my mind was earthquakes. I decided to see if there were any kind of quakes on the moon, and I was a little surprised to discover that there are four different kinds of moon quakes.…

The Fermi paradox is frequently misrepresented, even in name alone. Using Fermi’s name falsifies Enrico Fermi’s own opinions on the subject. Fermi was skeptical about the possibility of interstellar travel, but not necessarily the possibility of intelligent life. The paradox however is frequently interpreted to mean that the absence of contact or artifact is evidence that extraterrestrial intelligence does not exist. The “they are not here; therefore they do not exist” argument was not introduced by Fermi, but by astrophysicist Michael Hart.…

It’s amazing how the same stars we look at today are the same ones, more or less, that all humanity has gazed upon. Plato, Queen Mary, Martin Luther King—the list is endless but these great historical figures have all seen the balls of light and gas that shine in the sky tonight. That’s all they are, floating matter in a vast, unknown space we call “outer space” simply because it resides outside the front door. Space. It envelopes us like an old, soft blanket with moth bites here and stains there.…

As of the 21st century, it is no longer controversial to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life. While in the 16th century, a belief that life existed beyond Earth and its atmosphere may have led to a public execution (like it did for astronomer, Giordano Bruno), the same belief is held by 54% of Americans today. Given the evidence gathered through advanced space exploration and technology, the scientific community, as well as the general population, is more inclined to believe in extraterrestrial life. However, something that is more debatable, is the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life.…

The idea Earth is hurtling through space as the sole bearer of life, of myriad species who have come and gone through millennia, presents a lonely view of the universe. Conversely, if the universe is biological in nature and life is an eventuality given correct parameters, it’s difficult to ignore the absence of evidence. Considering the age and size of the galaxy, there should be remains of long abandoned settlements, if not other life forms themselves. Despite being unsubstantiated, there still exists a number of hopeful probability estimates for the existence of alien civilizations. One source of these estimates is the Drake equation, created by Frank Drake of SETI, in which the number of civilizations capable of communication is derived…
