Usually you know you are going to fail you might say whatever and move on, that is not the case Our Twisted Hero, Han stood up for what he believed.
In the book Our Twisted Hero by Yi Munyol the main point of the argument is Han being a twisted hero. Han shows forgiveness and bravery. To begin with, Han became a twisted hero when everyone backed down to Om. “Although at 12 it’s still easy to treat everything with the innocence of a child, I had feelings I wouldn’t be able to transfer to a new order and environment.” (27) “I greeted Sokdae with a stony refusal.” These quotes show how much of a rebel/twisted hero Han is. He did this because he knew Om would than have his back if Han needed Om’s help.
Finally, Han and om start having the same power in the classroom even though used to rule. “Go back to your places, all of you. Om Sokdae, to0.” (102) “After all, he was just a boy of fifteen or sixteen, a human being with a body surrenders easily.” (102)
Om was starting to lose power especially when the teacher beats him infront of the class. He got beaten because he cheated on test by giving other people to take it for him. Everyone saw he was just a regular boy now just like them. The teacher said go back even Om showed he now listens to the teacher.
Han was the twisted hero by all the evidence shown, Han was very brave and stood up for what he believed in even when Om got caught. Main point 1, it shows that han didn’t back down no matter the challenges he faced.
Main point 2, he forgave Om even after all he did to Han.
Main point 3, Han starts seeing Om losing power slowly but surley.To conclude, after all the hard work and challenges Han faced he still did not truly “Win”. Even though Han didn’t win he put in a great
