Our Lady of Victories Church (OLOV) was the first Catholic Church/School to open in Glenelg on June 6th, 1869. The Sisters of St Joseph ran Glenelg’s first Catholic school in the building. St Paul’s Lutheran Church (SP) was introduced into Glenelg in 1931, but has been on its current site since 1954. The church was built in 1961, and then the community hall built in 1978, which is known to be used for Sunday school. Due to the Lutheran church stemming from the Catholic church, there are many similarities. Both churches follow and believe in three Ecumenical churches; the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. They both believe these creeds to be truthful and appropriate in describing
