The traditional uses of the plant are [7] antidiarrheal, antimicrobial activity, dental plaque removal, antimalarial/antiparasitic activity, antitussive and antihyperglycemic. Leaves are used as Anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antinociceptive effects. Previous studies are there on antinociceptive action of leaves [8] .
