The essential information needed include current vital signs, personal and social history as well as the family history, because recurrent headaches lasting for 12-18 hours, especially with a patient on a birth control medication. Also, the clinician should know when she started Ortho Tri-cyclin and if any other prescription medications, or herbals is involved, did she have a recent blood work done?
