Which basketball team has been with the NBA since it’s birth and has broken many records? People have changed our lives in many ways and one of those ways was James Naismith and his invention-basketball. Basketball has added so much to the world including its professional leagues. The NBA was founded on June 6, 1946 as the Basketball Association (BAA). It became the National Basketball Association (NBA), on August 3, 1949 after merging with the National Basketball League (NBL). Now, the question has to be asked-which team made all the records? The Warriors! They won four titles, in 1948, 1964, 1967, and 2015. The Warriors have been with the NBA since it’s birth, and they have broken many records. The Warriors have a history filled with records. At their birth, they started as the Philadelphia Warriors from 1946-1962. A sensational game that their team played was on March 2, 1962, when Wilt Chamberlain, the center of their team, scored 100 points in a game. That record still hasn’t been beaten to date. After the Philadelphia Warriors, they moved from Philadelphia to San Francisco and became San Francisco Warriors from 1962-1971.
