This sexual sadism presents the option that this is some kind of lust killing. According to Dr. Lavery’s description of organized lust killers, there are several similarities. She states that organized lust killers plan their offenses, target specific strangers, control their crime scene, are often aggressive in their attack and sexual assault, move the body of their victim after they are done, and leave a clean crime scene (Lavery, 2024). All these characteristics are in line with the offender’s behavior in this case, due to all three victims. The moving of their bodies further suggests that the killer is an organized criminal because it is another aspect of an organized offender’s post-offense behavior, according to the same source by Dr. Lavery. The scene also suggests that the offender may be a serial offender. Each of the three victims was found to be lying horizontally with some combination of their limbs being crossed and all three victims being found with a pinecone in their hands or under their fingernails. The final victim was found to have a cross symbol cut superficially into her back. The combination of these factors suggests that a potential serial murderer committed these crimes in addition to the
