I am choosing to compare and contrast the Hyena with the Orangutan. I am choosing these two animals because of the brief but exciting fight that took place on the raft. The Orangutan was trying to assert her dominance in the new strange territory, similarly the Hyena was also competing for dominance. Both of these animals were trying to intimidate the other by showing their teeth and making loud, scary, aggressive noises. This was all just an attempt to try and determine who was higher on the food chain. The Orangutan is an omnivore so it consumes plants and animals however the Hyena is a carnivore and will only consume other animals. Because the Hyena is a Carnivore it has practice killing other animals and knows how to get the job done. On
