Objectives
Objectives should be specific, measurable, achievable and appropriate, realistic and be set within a specified and reasonable time frame (Kwan & Petersen 2003). According to Beiruti (1995) the objectives of school health promotion are to improve oral health and aetiology of oral disease in schoolchildren, parents, and teachers, attract the interest of parents, teachers and children toward health, unify between oral health and general health education, increase oral hygiene methods, prevent oral disease especially caries and periodontal disease and treat oral disease.
