The skills that individuals should meet is based on the RICS Quantity surveying and construction pathway guide. As a Quantity Surveyor individuals cover 3 sorts of skills: Mandatory, Core and Optional. The mandatory competencies covers regular themes canvassed in all the pathways accessible under the RICS. This implies it will cover individual, interpersonal, expert and business practices.
The core competencies covers points that are particular to the individuals’ field, this implies that they will cover contract practice, financial control on different projects, and detailing, and so forth.
