Jaylee was watching One Tree Hill when someone knocked on the door. With a groan, she walked to the door and opened it, only to see Luke standing there. He didn't look too happy, but she didn't say anything.

"Are you going to let me in or not?" He asked, annoyance laced through his voice, and Jaylee moved aside to let him in. He walked and plopped down on the couch. Jaylee sat in the chair across from him, and he looked at her before his gazed was fixed at the couch.

"Do you like me yet?" He questioned, and Jaylee laughed. His face was completely serious.

"No. I could never." Luke rolled his eyes and chuckled. He was kind of disappointed, but he didn't dare to show it. He stood up and walked over to Jaylee's chair, grabbing her arm and dragging her to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?"

He turned on the stove and faced Jaylee. "Making dinner. What does it look like?"

Luke pulled out a pot and some boxes. Jaylee couldn't see what he was making because he blocked her view. What she also couldn't see, was the smile slowly making its way on his face. He was going to make her happy again no

They jumped away from each other, panting hard. Luke pulled out his phone, texted someone back, and rested his forehead against Jaylee's. She closed her eyes and bit her lip. She had no idea what had just happened, but whatever it was, she definitely enjoyed it.

"We should probably go in the living room.." Luke suggested, and Jaylee shook her head. He zipped into the living room, and Jaylee let out a sigh, but she followed him into the room anyway. Luke was sitting on the couch, and Jaylee sat beside him. He wrapped his arm around her, and she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Who was that guy you were with earlier?" Jaylee sighed. Somehow, she knew this conversation was coming. Luke wouldn't be... that nice without a reason or wanting something.
