Alpha Kappa Psi is an extraordinary experience I want to be in. There are so many parts about this fraternity the fascinate me. The part I like the best is the brotherhood every member shares. These four pillars have shaped my overall growth and maturity in various ways, and have enabled me to outline my future goals. My leadership skills have been developed and learned through examples from my peers. I have realized that it takes compromise and responsibility to make a good leader. I have always tried to befriend and help my fellow students, and I pride myself on being a good role model, not just in my school, but in service to my community.…

Throughout history the National Honor Society has become synonymous with the best of the best. A school club that has built a legacy on students who exemplify the ideals of leadership, service, character, and citizenship. To even be considered for a group of this nature would be an honor within itself. Leadership is simply defined as the action of leading a group of people or an organization however, I believe leadership to be much more than simply being in charge. True leadership is simply more than being bossy and I have learned this through my experiences within boy scouts.…

As a student of Saint David Catholic School it’s a huge honor to have the National Junior Honor Society invite me to join them as an inductee. I would love to be a member of this society because all of my life I have lived by the standard of “success comes before work only in the dictionary.” The goals that I have set for myself can only be achieved by hard work and I feel that being a member of NJHS will really help me reach my goal. As a leader I hope to be able to use my power to aid in the uplifting of others.…

I care about Theta Eta and Its Members more than anyone will ever know. My five years of membership has been filled many great memories that are filled with love and laughter and horror stories that I would rather forget but as I stand here talking to you today I hope you can understand and realize that for me it has always been about the sisterhood of Alpha Sigma Alpha. The truth of the matter of my membership is that the best memories of my membership were never formal chapter events but intimate one on one moments of everyday life such as weddings of sisters that you risk your life to attend just to be there to witness the marriage of your sister and her love or the annual snuggles with one true love Rachel, or the crazy relationship conversations with your beautiful and loyal best friend or 4x4 rides scouting location for sessions with your gorgeous little or witnessing your big become a mother these are the memories and emotional connections I wish for each of my sisters. NHS Essay

National Honor Society (NHS) is built upon four key values (scholarship, character, leadership, and service), and I think that I exemplify all four of these values, as I show them through my contribution to the club now and as I will show them through my future officer position of secretary; due to the fact that I exhibit these qualities, I will also be able to leave NHS better than I found when I leave the club in the future. NHS has offered lots of service opportunities since I have joined the club, and it offers a challenging experience for the top students in the sophomore through senior classes; fifty hours must be completed by the end of the year for returning members, and fifty hours must be completed by the next school year for new members. The club ultimately instilled in me important and very useful life qualities. The service activities that must be completed improve my work ethic and ability to work in groups with others, and they also help me get involved more with my community. As a future officer, I would be a great example for members because I have all the qualities needed to be a great NHS leader, allowing me to contribute to NHS as much as I can and to also mold future members to be like myself.…

National Honor Society celebrates leadership among scholars, and I would be gratified to be a leader among leaders. I am qualified for an officer position because I have been in notable executive roles from a very young age, and have since been an eminent leader amongst my peers. In elementary school, I held officer positions in Junior Beta Club, Math Club, Science Club, and student council officer figures. In middle school, I again held noteworthy positions in several S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and math) organizations, National Junior Honor Society, and Leadership Academy. To this day I constantly rise to any opportunity to prove my leadership among my peers, and will implement this if held to an office position in National Honor Society.…

The four pillars of National Honor Society- scholarship, leadership, service, and character- have almost solely shaped my development. I pride myself in being true to all four of these pillars, in both my daily life, as well as who I am overall. I feel as if each of these virtues represents a fourth of who I hope I am; someone who values learning, is a fair leader, dedicates herself to her community, and leads a moral life. My high school career has been stressful because it is an immense amount of work to excel in each of these categories, but I couldn't be happier with where that work has put me. I am proud to be the person I am today.…
