One of their opportunities that they have is to expand. Recently they have talked about merging with Staples. Another opportunity would be to increase their social responsible image. They could easily do this by becoming more involved with the community surrounding each store. Another opportunity could be to follow the customer trends more closely. This being stated, they would stop closing stores and open one in college town and big cities where there are people who always need supplies live. And finally they could be looking at what their competition, like Best Buy, is doing and they could adapt some of their ideas to make the store
