Ocean Spiral Project Paper

Japan construction firm Shimizu Corp. proposed the Ocean Spiral project aka underwater city. The energy will be generated by the seabed. They are planning to have a deep sea submarine port and factory that converts carbon dioxide to methane. This underwater city will be put off the Japanese coast and will stretch to 2.8 miles in depth. Their plan is to divide this into three sections, the first section is the city. In the city there will be hotels, businesses, and houses. Section 2 would be the spiral that will connect the sphere to the seabed where the deep sea submarine port and factory will be. Lastly, section 3 will be where the energy is created to power the sphere by using micro-organism to convert the carbon monoxide into methane. Additionally,
