The teacher will be observant and attentive to the students will special needs, so he or she knows the student is understanding the content and being included in participation.
Multicultural and Diverse Perspectives:
Since the students will be in groups, the roles can be undertaken and changed during the Leaf Scavenger Hunt and leaf investigation.
The students will work together to discover the different groups of leaves they possess. To ensure this, the teacher will walk around the room to check and see that everyone in each group is included and working.
The teacher will also remind the students that no matter where they live, each and every student has an impact on their environment. The teacher will remind the students that we all have a responsibility and a duty to the Earth to take care of it.
