The media influences the way people understand the world around them through movies, and popular movies impact the viewers' opinions around the world. Most films have an impact on people since they can either relate to it by "their" life, fantasy, or history. People who watch movies may encounter past or present history lessons that they may have experienced as well, as "not [being] able to witness or take part in" ("Influence of Films…"). The advantages of movies can teach people about history that once happened or how history repeats itself with crimes, gangs, and violence that some people might have experienced in their life. Some films that people have viewed are about the "hardship that people in other countries endure in their day to day lives" ("Influence of Films…"). People who accept the given information presented to them as the truth may form baseless facts from what they see.

My belief for Robert Blake's case was the lack of evidence that was not fully investigated thoroughly because of the lack of clarification of his statement. Admin states that Blake claimed he "carried a gun because he was worried someone was stalking his wife." Blake also, "parked his car on a dark street, far from the restaurant" (Admin). If a man was protecting his wife knowing someone was stalking her, he would not have "parked his car on a dark street, far from the restaurant in a secluded area and left her by herself to be put in danger
