Nurses are professionals who dedicate their lives to helping and bettering people’s lives. Nurses aid everyone from the time of birth to the time of death as well as many life stages in between. Loved ones of those who are helped by nurses rely on nurses to help make their sister, brother, child, or parent healthier. The wish that everyone has for their loved ones to be treated with respect and compassion is determined by the passion and hardwork a nurse has. I believe that one day I will be able to be a nurse who has a great amount of passion for helping people and the determination to do all I can to help those in need. I believe my continuous dedication in school will be beneficial to me during my time in the nursing program. My attention to information received will help me while I am in clinicals as well as the various labs throughout the program. I have always been a very hard-working student and I always put my education first. I think it is very important to attend classes and ask questions when information is not clear and I do not understand. I believe that there is no other career that can help individuals on a personal level that can help as many lives as nursing does. Nursing will give me opportunities to showcase my organizational and quick decision-making skills, while maintaining compassion and a calming presence. I have always been interested in pursuing a career in nursing. I know many people who have gone through the nursing program at the University of Windsor. From hearing their experiences in school as well as in their jobs, I know that I will be able to successfully become a nurse with dedication. Every story I hear inspires me even more to become a nurse to help people and make their lives better. I believe I can make a difference in people’s lives everyday with a career in nursing and I look forward to this amazing
