One aspect of Joan’s nursing care plan that will be discussed in more detail is her pressure area management. Joan has left sided weakness and is unable to reposition by herself requiring assistance. Joan has two small superficial ulcers on her lower right and left legs, these occurred prior to her transfer to the ward. There is a wound care plan in place for the ulcers.
