The two best jobs in the medical field is being a certified nursing assistant or a nurse practitioner. Both of these jobs expands a person’s education, job skills, and benefits. Each one of these takes time and dedication. Another reason these two jobs are the best in the medical field is because they require responsibility, critical thinking, and being kind and compassionate to the patients. First, a nurse practitioner must become a registered nurse, which can further a person’s education even more. When they get their bachelor’s degree, the program will teach them communication skills, supervision, management, and community health and quantitative skills. The last thing a person needs to do is to get their state license and certification. An individual becoming a CNA could expand their education by completing 75 hours of nursing aid training. They will also have to complete prerequisite classes that will cover medical terminology, structure and function of the human body, computer basics, CPR, and first aid. A nurse practitioner must have leadership skills, be able to diagnose people, and prescribe medication to patients. The person will need to have leadership skills because there will be registered nurses needing proper guidance. Being able to diagnose patients with the right illness and prescribe the right amount of medication to every patient is a remarkable job skill. A certified nursing assistant rewarding job skills would be providing physical care to patients such as hygiene care, activities of daily living, and provide adjunct care. Hygiene care includes giving residents showers, mouth care, and shaving them. The activities of daily living would include serving meals, feeding patients if necessary, and ambulating them.
