Nurse Craig Summary

Nurse Craig received a phone call report of a patient from Nurse Lucinda. When assessing the patient Nurse Craig should have administered oxygen to the patient in order for her to breathe smoothly. Nurse Craig should have applied O2 and do some deep breathing exercise with the patient which should eventually help the patient feel better. After some time, Nurse Craig went back to Mrs. Jordan and found that she was had in difficulty breathing. Nurse Craig suspected that the patient was suffering from an acute dyspnea so the patient’s vital signs, temperature and lung sounds were taken. Nurse Craig increased the oxygen to 44 minutes because he knew that the patient was showing signs of heart failure and hypoxemia. In order to save her life, Nurse Craig continued assessment by listening to her lung sounds.

Nurse Craig checked the patients' preadmission meds with the current one that the neighbor brought in, label the bag, and locked it in the cabinets.
