The National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) is a guide to FOSTER successful recovery, particularly for catastrophic incidents like earthquakes. The NDRF provides guidance that assists efficient recovery support to areas impacted by the earthquake. It provides an accommodating structure that facilitates disaster recovery managers to function in an integrated manner. It also emphasis on how to reinstate, redevelop, and regenerate the health, social, economic, natural, and environmental structure of the community and make the community more resilient (FEMA, 2014).
